Michelle Fair is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience. Her particular areas of interest and experience have included adult rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, and organisational health. She uses her diverse background to holistically assess, recommend and implement appropriate solutions for employers, injured workers, and people with a disability.
Michelle has worked in senior leadership roles and completed an MBA (Master of Business Administration), majoring in Workplace Health and Safety. This provides her with a unique view and ensures her solutions and recommendations consider both the organisational needs and those of the injured or ill worker. Michelle focuses on sustainable outcomes, thus restricting or preventing the cycle of injury and illness.
Compassion and care underpin Michelle’s approach to her work. She is motivated to enable people to be as independent as possible, as well as support organisations to achieve a safe and healthy workplace. Ultimately, we all strive to successfully and safely participate in meaningful activities, and this is something Michelle is passionate about.
Michelle’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, MBA (WHS), Grad Cert Human Factors & Safety Mgt Systems, Cert IV in Training & Assessment, and Cert IV WHS. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at Bond University, and was a 2017 finalist in the Queensland Rehabilitation and Return to Work awards.
